It is an excellent mushroom with a soft nutty flavour.

Chef’s tip: Blitz fry porcini in a food mill until a fine powder. Add to the soups and sauces to boost the flavour. Can be used for steaks seasoning. You can add dry porcini to the soups, stews and any slow cooked dishes.
