Fine Sweet white wine from Bordeaux, France.

Chateau Briatte is located in the heart of the Sauternes appellation, planted on a mix of clay and gravel soils. The vines are an average 37 years old and produce good intensity. The blend is 90% honeyed Semillon, 5% Herbaceous Sauvignon and 5% aromatic Muscadelle. Picked by hand in successive harvests and then the wine goes into barrel to age for 18 months.

Enticingly aromatic and floral with a light golden colour. There is tropical fruit here, melon and lychee, touched by traces of honey.

Chateau Briatte goes very well with fruity desserts and blue cheese.
