Juan Pedro Domecq raise their small herd of 100% Iberian pork in their family Odessa near Seville, Spain. They control each stage of the processes, from rearing to curing, to ensure the best quality meat. The natural acorn-based diet gives Iberico pork a delicious, nutty, buttery fat which melts in the mouth.

This Acorn Fed 100% Iberico Salchichon is absolutely different form every salchichon you have ever tasted. It is a very rare product on the market.

The secret of the quality is in the meat, coming from Juan Pedro Domecq own 100% Iberico Bellota pigs, selected personally by Production Director, at the slaughterhouse. The fat infiltration in this meat gives the salchichon its unique texture and flavour, without any added fats of other origin. This is the healthiest salami. The fat in 100% Iberico pigs is mainly oleic acid, the same as in olive oil, so it is quite a healthy product.
