La Perruche is a company with a long history starting from 1828 when the secret recipe was invented. They are manufacturing traditional sugar with the authentic flavours and fragrance of the tropical Islands, without changing their original recipe after almost 200 years.
The unique flavour of their sugar was awarded many times the medals at the Paris Universal Exhibition.
The sugar cane harvested and pressed from July to December to produce a sweet liquid that transformed to a syrup before the formation of the first crystals. The sugar is full of aromas and goodness of the rich soil in the North and East of the Island.
