Bordier butter is made from milk produced in both organic and sustainable agriculture farms in Brittany and Normandy. They are the last company making butter by hand in wooden cylinder, which are then moulded by expert hands with palettes to preserve their texture. For this reason, it takes 3 days to produce Bordier butter compared to 6 hours for industrial butter.
Yuzu is a hybrid of lemon and wild mandarin orange that comes from East Asia. It adds a fragrant and bright tanginess to any dish, and has a flavour profile that bears resemblance to grapefruit.
Elegant and fresh, Bordier Yuzu Butter provides a marvelous bittersweet coating for a baked cod fillet en papillote. On a slice of bread, it can’t be beat with a lovely strawberry jam.
